Westward Ho

Because really, what is the point of travelling if not to blog about it?

No, but seriously. I've recently gotten back into journaling, and hopefully maintaining a blog will prove another useful tool in my quest to reclaim a degree of self-awareness that I feel I've lost. As clichéd as it is, I'm hoping to make this as much an internal journey as an external one. I'm displeased and dissatisfied with my self as it is now, and although the irony about self-discipline is that it's really hard to cultivate if you don't possess any to start with, maybe this drastic change will enable me to pick up my old habits by the scruff (scruffs?) of their neck(s) and give them a good shake. Clear the board, as it were. Clear the cobwebs. Clear the Etch-a-Sketch.

Anyway. This is my proposed route, which has already been subjected to much tweaking and will probably continue to evolve, though hopefully not too dramatically. I'll keep my camera handy and try to stay within reach of Wifi when I stop for the day.
